The Detroit City Planning Council issued recommendations regarding the allocation of Community Development Block Grant/Neighborhood Opportunity Fund (CDBG/NOF) funds for 2012-2013, which have been discussed in hearings this week. A vote is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, April 27).
While a final list of recommendations (to be voted on tomorrow) has not been made available, CDAD was informed by CPC that, for the most part, the vote will largely follow the recommendations made on April 13. To see which organizations were recommended for funding, you can download the CPC recommendations here:
A number of groups who were originally denied due to an incomplete application, an application filled out incorrectly, or because funding had been exhausted have now been included again. We don’t have a specific list of which groups have been reprogrammed but we understand those decisions were made on Tuesday.
