ProsperUs Detroit – Microenterprise Training Community Partner Opportunity

Since the beginning of 2012 Global Detroit, in partnership with Southwest Housing Solutions, has been developing ProsperUS Detroit, a place-based entrepreneur training and microlending program. Unlike more traditional entrepreneur training programs, ProsperUS partners with community-based organizations to find untapped talent in neighborhoods, hosts trainings within neighborhoods and connects low-income immigrant and minority entrepreneurs with character-based lending.

It is with incredible anticipation and excitement that I invite you and your organization (or others) to consider submitting an application to serve as a Community Partner for the ProsperUs Detroit microenterprise training, technical assistance, and lending program. ProsperUS Detroit has targeted three neighborhoods including Cody Rouge, Southwest Detroit, and the North End.

If your organization is located in one of these target neighborhoods, I encourage you to click here to learn more!
As you will see in the RFA, applications should be submitted to info@ProsperUSDetroit.org by June 18, 2012.
