The education and career community development pipeline is a continuum of learning and leadership opportunities for Detroit residents. The work of the Pipeline is not limited to individual achievements. Components include a advocating for equitable hiring practices, wages and benefits for practices, a digital portal to facilitate career planning and employment, and support for succession planning and board development.
Our goal is to increase the number of Detroiters of color who are prepared to take on leadership roles as fierce advocates for their neighborhoods — from middle schoolers to elders — making community development their lifetime careers.

Development of the adult component is in its early stages.
