Regional Housing Partnership
In 2023, The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) announced Community Development Advocates of Detroit (CDAD) and Local Initiatives Support Corporations Detroit office (LISC Detroit) as co-leads for the Regional Housing Partnership (RHP) in Detroit Region O. Co-leads, selected by peers within the region, will partner with local governments, developers, nonprofits, businesses, local health departments, grassroots organizations, philanthropic organizations and other stakeholders in Detroit to address specific housing needs.
Currently in the design phase, our goal is to create regional action plans that align with Michigan State Housing Development Association’s (MSHDA) Statewide Housing Plan. Action plan implementation is intended to start in the fall of 2023 and continue through Summer of 2027.
